Artist’s Statement

In my paintings and drawings I work diligently to record the beauty of God’s creation on canvas by capturing not only the physical likeness of each person but also the uniqueness and dignity of their individual character and personality. My deepest desire is for each painting to glorify God and to point up to His goodness, and to be a blessing for the client and their family.

Portraiture method

The artist requires 2 or 3 sittings with her clients…the 1st to get acquainted and discuss the portrait, the 2nd to take photographs if needed, and a sitting toward completion to discuss any final touches needed.
